Skiing in Verbier

The skiing in Verbier is arguably the best in the world, famous for its extensive and easily accessible off-piste and itinerary routes, over 400km of piste and the enormous network of 95 lift stations. From Medran at 1500 metres the ski area rises to an altitude of 3330 metres at Mont Fort ensuring that good snow conditions are found throughout the season. Televerbier have invested heavily in snow cannon technology in recent years guaranteeing resort level snow throughout the season.

Although Verbier is a mecca for off-piste and extreme skiing, every level of skier is well provided for.

Beginners:
The nursery slopes are conveniently located close to the village; the Moulin nursery slope is literally 150m from our chalet Les Pleiades, perfect for families and beginners.

Once confidence and ability improves, Savoleyres, La Chaux and Lac De Vaux offer beautifully groomed blue and red runs within the main lift systems.

"The best ski resort in the world... bar none!"

Mr & Mrs C, London

Intermediates:
Savoleyres, Verbier’s lesser known mountain, offers gentle tree lined pistes as well as more challenging reds, whilst the Ruinettes area provides wide-open pistes for cruising with stunning views across the Bagnes Valley.

Advanced:
Verbier offers the advanced skier everything your heart could wish for. From Mont Fort at 3330 metres, with impressive views of Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, you can find easily accessible steep bump fields, couloirs and huge powder bowls. Mont Gele is one of the few off-piste only peaks in the world serviced by a cable car.
